KDocs's next FREE on-campus event is a screening of the documentary

The PSAC Vancouver Regional Women’s Committee encourages all of our members to take part in March On Vancouver on January 20th in support of equality, diversity, and inclusion. The march will begin at Jack Poole Plaza at 10AM and takes place on the unceded Coast Salish Territories xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ (Tsleil-Waututh).

PSAC members, along with the New Westminster & District Labour Council and the Kwantlen Students Association, helped organize a candlelight vigil at Holland Park on December 6th, the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. To: BC Locals/Branches and regional committees Warmest greetings from your Sisters on the Vancouver RWC! We would like to invite all locals and committees to join us. Our committee has taken on an exciting year-long project called the Shoebox Project.

Over forty PSAC sisters attended the Vancouver Regional Women’s Committee International Women’s Day celebration and meeting in Vancouver, March 8th. Participants heard short presentations from Janet Routledge, NDP candidate in North Burnaby and former PSAC staff member; Joanne Hay, Union of Postal Communications Employees National Executive Officer; and Jennifer Chieh Ho and Kelly Sidhu, PSAC BC Regional Council members. They all spoke about the solidarity and support they get from fellow PSAC members every day, and how much it helps in their work with our union.

The Vancouver Regional Women's Committee encourages all members to weark pink on February 22nd, Pink Shirt Day. Take a stand against bullying!
